1. Purpose
This policy establishes the rules, responsibilities, and expectations governing the use of VENTA HUB facilities, co-working spaces, and startup support services. The objective is to create a productive, professional, sustainable, and collaborative environment that supports startup growth while ensuring fair use of resources. It applies to all startups, founders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and program participants using VENTA HUB facilities.
2. Eligibility
Only startups officially admitted into VENTA HUB incubation, acceleration, training, or innovation programs shall be permitted to use the VENTA HUB workspace. VENTA HUB reserves the right to approve, suspend, or revoke workspace access at its sole discretion.
3. Team Size Limitation
Each startup shall be allocated workspace access for a maximum of two (2) active team members. Additional team members may only access the facility upon prior approval and may incur additional fees. Workspace access is non-transferable.
4. Workspace Access Requirements
To access and utilize VENTA HUB facilities, participating startups must:
- Sign the VENTA HUB Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
- Agree to all VENTA HUB policies and procedures
- Complete registration on all required VENTA HUB digital platforms and portals
- Maintain active participation in assigned programs
- Remain in good standing with VENTA HUB
5. Workspace Usage Fees
The VENTA HUB workspace is a shared entrepreneurial environment and certain services are offered on a cost-sharing basis. Participating startups may be required to contribute toward the following:
- Community Refreshment Contribution — refreshments available within the facility to support the sustainability of the community space.
- Digital Connectivity Contribution — internet services according to the applicable pricing plan.
- Workspace Membership Fee — workspace or desk usage fees.
- Capacity Building Program Fee — training programs may attract separate fees depending on the program offered.
VENTA HUB reserves the right to revise pricing structures with prior notice.
6. Expected Conduct
- Conduct yourself professionally and respect fellow entrepreneurs and visitors.
- Maintain a collaborative environment and keep noise levels reasonable.
- Keep the workspace clean and respect shared resources.
- Use facilities responsibly and follow staff instructions.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Illegal activities, harassment, or discrimination
- Misuse of internet services or unauthorized commercial activities
- Destruction of property or sharing access credentials
- Bringing unauthorized guests or disruptive behavior
- Political campaigning and hate speech
VENTA HUB reserves the right to immediately remove violators.
8. Digital Ecosystem Participation
All participating startups shall actively maintain profiles within VENTA HUB's digital ecosystem, which may include the Startup Portal, Venta Dev, Venta Videos, Voice Pod, Startup Sandboxes, Learning Management Systems, Community Platforms, and Monitoring & Reporting Systems. Failure to maintain active participation may result in suspension of workspace privileges.
9. Attendance Requirements
- Attend scheduled training sessions
- Participate in mentorship activities
- Attend ecosystem events
- Submit progress updates when requested
Repeated absence without justification may lead to suspension.
10. Startup Property
VENTA HUB is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought into the facility. Participants are responsible for safeguarding their belongings.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property developed by startups remains the property of the startup unless otherwise agreed in writing. VENTA HUB does not claim ownership over startup innovations.
12. Privacy and Confidentiality
Participants shall respect the confidentiality of information belonging to other startups, investors, mentors, partners, and VENTA HUB. Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information is prohibited.
13. Payment Obligations
Failure to settle required fees may result in:
- Suspension of workspace access
- Suspension from programs
- Restricted access to digital platforms
- Removal from VENTA HUB programs
14. Suspension or Termination
VENTA HUB may suspend or terminate participation if a startup:
- Violates policies or fails to meet payment obligations
- Engages in misconduct or provides false information
- Damages property or fails to participate in programs
VENTA HUB decisions shall be final.
15. Policy Amendments
VENTA HUB may update this policy at any time. Participants shall be notified of significant changes. Continued use of VENTA HUB facilities constitutes acceptance of revised policies.
16. Acceptance Statement
By signing the Startup Space Usage agreement, the startup acknowledges that it has read, understood, and agrees to comply with this Startup Space Usage Policy.
